Spring Wedding in Florence
Newborn flowers and warm atmosphere
Choosing the venue for your destination wedding can be really interesting because you have the possibilities to discover different places but, at the end the one you choose is the wedding venue that really fits perfect for you. Since the first moment you start thinking about if will be realized: flower decorations, colours palette, people everywhere and obviously you, bride and groom dressed up for that special day!
Thinking about springtime, your mind wonder at pale colours, good smell of newborn flowers and a warm atmosphere. Rowena and Matthew, a Scottish couple have been inspired by these elements to made up their intimate and elegant destination wedding in Italy.
Rowena and Matthew chose a fantastic Tuscan villa surrounded by Fiesole hills. The gorgeous view on the city was a suggestive backdrop for the outdoor ceremony and the intimate cocktail.
Due to the magnificence of the spaces we decided not to add lots of decorations because the natural and simpleness of this place is something that should be valued.
Peonies with very delicate nuances and pale rose flowers were the co-main characters of Rowena and Matthew’s Italian wedding.
Scottish traditions have been respected above all for what concerns wedding clothes: white princess ball gown for her and blue and green kilt for him.
Bestman and ushers wore a coordinated dress embellished with a pale rose buttonhole and on the contrary the burgundy bridesmaids dresses were enriched with small pale pink bouquets.
Despite the good and warm weather the wedding dinner with parents, relatives and friends was in an indoor hall. Guests were welcomed in a splendid room with a coffered ceiling and impressive arches where they could taste the traditional Tuscan dishes.
A round table with flowers and candles was the romantic setting for the cutting cake, an epical moment under the splendid Tuscan sky and it was the beginning of music and dance moment.
Smiles, simplicity and romance were the details which opened my last wedding season. Could I ask anything better?
